Sts. Joseph and Anthony Center, a women’s hostel under the care of the Little Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, was established in 2012 to meet the growing demand for girl’s hostels near educational institutions in Langata and Karen. Founded with a mission to promote Christian faith among youth and empower female students through education, the center is conveniently located approximately 500 meters from CUEA.

The center provides affordable board and accommodation services to female students attending nearby institutions such as the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Tangaza University College, Kenya School of Law, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and Cooperative University. Situated along Bogan East Road in Southern Langata, about 12 kilometers from Nairobi’s city center, Sts. Joseph and Anthony Center aims to empower female students to pursue education, develop talents, and create a conducive, secure, and affordable accommodation environment.

Key Objectives:

1. Empower and support female students in pursuing education and developing talents.
2. Provide a conducive, affordable, and secure accommodation environment for students in the Langata and Karen areas.
3. Prepare and equip students for productive activities, employment opportunities, and income generation.

Management:

The center is managed by the Little Sisters of St. Francis, dedicated to meeting the needs of students in line with their Charism of Newness and fullness of Christ’s life. The Sisters extend their services to Uganda and Tanzania, embodying the vision of holistic transformation towards the reign of God.
